Google’s AI Feature for Instant Slides Is Rolling Out

by admin477351

Google has begun rolling out a highly anticipated AI feature that instantly creates presentations from text. This new tool, part of the Gemini Canvas workspace, can read any document or report and automatically generate a complete, structured Google Slides deck.

This feature is designed to save users countless hours. The AI analyzes the text, identifies key themes and sections, and then builds a slide deck complete with titles, logical breaks, and relevant visuals. The result is a clean, professional-looking presentation created with minimal effort.

This new capability is housed in Gemini’s Canvas mode, the same environment Google launched for AI-assisted writing and brainstorming. Now, this workspace serves as a bridge, turning text-based ideas into visual presentations ready for any meeting.

Once the AI creates the draft, users can export it directly to Google Slides. This allows for easy editing, customization, and collaboration, combining the speed of AI with the control of human oversight.

The feature is already rolling out to users around the world, on both personal Google accounts and Workspace plans. It appears to be reaching Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers first, with a general release for all users expected to follow.
