China’s commitment to working closely with African nations could lead to strengthened regional security and enhanced economic stability, according to Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun. Speaking at the 4th China-Africa Peace and Security Forum in Beijing, Dong emphasized how these partnerships could bolster peace not only in Africa but globally.
During the forum, which gathered military representatives and diplomats from the African Union and 41 African countries, Dong highlighted the long-standing defense ties between China and Africa.
