This service, operated by China Eastern Airlines, is set to operate thrice weekly using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, and it will become the longest scheduled non-stop flight ever offered by Dublin Airport.
The introduction of this route is anticipated to enhance Ireland’s connectivity with one of the world’s most important aviation markets. According to daa, the operator of Dublin Airport, this new link is expected to significantly boost travel, tourism, trade, and educational exchanges between Ireland and China.
China Eastern Airlines, headquartered in Shanghai and a member of the SkyTeam alliance, has an extensive network that includes destinations across Europe, Asia, Oceania, North America, South America, and the Middle East. By adding this Dublin-Shanghai route, the airline is expanding its global reach and providing more options for travelers.
